Guitar, Bass

Music Production
David produces and builds beats. He works with artists who want to learn how a track comes together, from the first idea to a finished mix.
Guitar
Aethan teaches guitar with an ear for tone and technique. He helps students discover what they actually want to sound like, then builds the mechanics to get there.
All lessons are conducted online via Zoom with flexible scheduling. Remote worldwide.
Be Prepared
Set yourself up for success. Follow this checklist before every online lesson so you can spend your time learning — not troubleshooting.
iPads, tablets, and phones are not supported for lessons. You need a full computer to see shared screens, sheet music, and DAW workflows properly.
Download Zoom from zoom.us and make sure it's fully updated before lesson day. The browser version lacks features you'll need.
Check your camera, microphone, and speakers before the lesson. Make sure Zoom has permission to access them in your system settings.
Use a wired connection if possible, or sit close to your router. Close other apps and browser tabs that use bandwidth.
Plug your device into power or ensure it's fully charged. Lessons require sustained performance — don't risk a mid-lesson shutdown.
Find a distraction-free room with good lighting on your face and instrument. Your instructor needs to see your technique clearly.
Have your instrument tuned, music stand set up, and any sheet music, picks, cables, or lesson materials within arm's reach.
Arrive early to resolve any last-minute issues. Your lesson time starts on schedule and late arrivals may not receive extended time.
Your Zoom link is provided in your Opus 1 booking confirmation and any follow-up lesson communication. Do not share your link with anyone — each link is unique to your booking.
Missing your link or having setup trouble? Email us at lessons@ghsound.com before your lesson so we can help.
A parent or guardian must help with first-time setup — installing Zoom, testing audio/video, and joining the first lesson. Please remain available nearby during the lesson in case technical assistance is needed.
