Acoustic Guitar

Electric Guitar

Focus on riffs, lead playing, fretboard control, bends, articulation, tone, effects, and playing confidently with amplification.

Acoustic-Electric Guitar

An acoustic-electric guitar combines the natural sound and feel of an acoustic with a built-in pickup, so it can be played unplugged or connected to an amplifier.

Not sure where to start? We often recommend a nylon-string guitar for new players because the strings can feel gentler on the fingers, but every student is different. We’ll help you choose the instrument that best fits your age, hand size, musical interests, and goals.

How much practice is recommended between lessons?
Consistent, focused practice is more valuable than forcing long sessions. Your instructor can recommend a realistic practice routine based on your goals, experience, and schedule.
Can lessons help me prepare for performances or auditions?
Yes. Lessons can focus on song preparation, technique, timing, dynamics, and other skills that support auditions and live performances.
Are guitar lessons suitable for adults?

What can I expect during the first six months?
